New H1 range of heat detectors for hazardous areas
E2S Warning Signals are pleased to announce the release of the new H1 range of heat detectors. Globally approved to UL, cUL, IECEx and ATEX standards employing explosion proof, flameproof, increased safety and intrinsically safe protection concepts, the H1 range contains devices with aluminium, stainless steel and GRP enclosures for use in Zone 1, 2, 21, 22 and Class I Zone 1, 2, 21, 22 and Class I/II Division 1 and Division 2 and are UL521 and CAN/ULC-S530 compliant.
The robust E2S termination enclosures are combined with D-A-F heat detector elements as an approved assembly to create a comprehensive solution for heat detection in hazardous areas. The industry standard Detect-A-Fire ® (D-A-F) rate compensated heat detector elements feature stainless steel enclosures and hermetically sealed contacts and are available in a wide range of temperatures.

All variants feature IP66/67 Type 4/4X/13/3R ratings for the harshest of environments and an optional protective guard for the element. Selected variants can be specified with an LED to indicate an alarm condition and with a wide range of addressable modules.
